Orla and Sinéad are from The Bio-Energy School of Ireland. Bio-Energy is an ancient form of energy healing therapy originating in China. All life forms emanate an energy field called the aura within which are energy centres called the Chakras. Each chakra relates to a particular physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspect of the person.

When the energy centres are not flowing freely, disease and ill-health can result. A Bio-Energy healing therapist has the skills to feel these energies by using a series of hand movements to restore any imbalance thereby assisting in the healing process. Many people including well know celebrities have attributed their recovery from illness to Bio-energy.

Guest Speaker Grainne Tyndall gave a very interesting introduction to Numerology. Grainne is Irish and the resident numerologist on TV3. A woman of many talents which includes Spiritual Healing and Teaching, a best selling author of the book Angel Wisdom for Kids and a qualified Life Skills Consultant.

Saturday, 18th June 2011 - Field Trip to Rock of Dunamaise (Co. Laois)

This Field trip was Led by Siobhain O’Rourke, who has an excellent working knowledge of the area.  Siobhain is a practicing Healer whose interests would lie in Celtic Spirituality, she also runs Lakshmi Tours which specializes in guides tours of areas associated with St. Briget.

The Rock of Dunamaise is one of the most historic sites in Ireland and was first settled in the 9th Century (early Christian Settlement). The castle was built in the mid 12th Century. Local tradition has it that it was blown up by Cromwellian Forces in 1651.

Mass Rock located in Oughaval Wood which is situated on the far side of Stradbally a short distance from the Rock. This was used during Penal times and is a very interesting site

THE ROLE OF DIVINING IN CAUSATIVE HEALTH ANALYSIS IN THE CONTEMPORARY ENVIRONMENT by Ciarán Graham at the Lantern Centre, 17 Synge St., Dublin 8

Divining is considered to be the oldest form of analytical methodology used by man to determine the reason behind ill-health and is also considered to be the most ancient discipline utilized in identifying and formulating natural treatments to restore health. While science has clearly taken over this role in the past number of centuries divining still has a major role to play in causative health analysis (identification of factors leading to ill health). This theme will be explored by Ciarán in his presentation, especially in the light of the continued expansion of wireless technology and increased use of electrical appliances in our homes and work places.

Bring your pendulums and divining tools, as you will have the opportunity to divine over a number of house plans and sites to determine contributing environmental factors leading to ill-health in a number of locations.


March 12th 2011 - Divining and Science: Resolving the conflict by Kieran Comerford.

Kieran is an electrical engineer by training. He learned to meditate thirty years ago and this led him to investigate the world beyond the five senses. He has studied the nature of reality when viewed from Eastern philosophy and modern physics. His book “The Christian’s Dilemma” dealt with these subjects from the aspect of religion and his book on Newgrange as a place for healing and divination will be published in June 2011.

Kieran showed videos of tests of diviners by Richard Dawkins and James Randi and went on to discuss why divining seems to fail under scientific scrutiny. He suggested some approaches which would help in understanding the nature of the problem of testing under strict scientific conditions. He offered some tentative solutions for discussion.

Jim is well known to the society for his work as a dowser and natural healer. He describes himself as a ‘gifted healer’ the healing gift passed on to him through the generations from as far back as his great grandmother. He lives in a country house/castle with his wife Marion also a gifted psychic and reads tea-leaves. They share their abode with many spirits and orbs. Jim brings comfort to those in pain, is clairvoyant, working through the world renowned Harry Edwards spiritual healer. Among his talents are; many herbal remedies; heals humans, horses and other animals; he’s an empath; an expert on country folk remedies and much, much more. We will receive the benefit of Jim’s knowledge and experience which is something very unique.

May 22nd 2010 - An introduction to Earth energy dowsing with Stephanie Bolton

Stephanie Bolton has given illustrated talks, group tuition and individual apprenticeships on Dowsing Earth Energies for over twelve years. She is a registered tutor of the British Society of Dowsers and now lives in Co. Cork.

• Use pendulum/rods
• Locate and follow Earth energy ley and underground stream (or leys and streams if appropriate – also if possible crossing streams)
•  Assess the direction and strength of flow of Earth energy lines
•  Dowse for the outer layer of a person's aura in a neutral area, and then measure how it is affected when the person stands on an Earth Energy line
•  Use simple kinesiology to assess the effect of an Earth energy line on the physical strength of a person
•  Assess the qualities of the Earth Energies that are located
•  You will learn techniques of protecting yourself from picking up negative energies in your aura, and simple techniques to clear energies from your aura which may be picked up, if you forget to set up protection.
•  Explore a simple method to heal Earth energies which are out of balance
